This package includes all the best destinations and their unique surroundings along the world famous Garden Route. Starting in Cape Town, continuously voted to be one of the World’s most favourite City’s to visit, gives you a great start to your adventure. Cape Town gives you the perfect entry into South Africa with all the opportunities surrounding and in the City. Must see landmarks like Table Mountain, Cape Point, Waterfront and Camps Bay etc will all be visited. The tour visits South Africa’s oldest wine route in Stellenbosch for wine tastings, cellar tours and lunch on the vineyards. After a few too many wine tastings we head towards Hermanus, which is the number one land based Whale watching capital, where you can stroll along the cliffs and see Whales below, and take an ocean safari to get up close and personal with Humpback and Southern Right Whales. We continue to Knysna and Plettenberg Bay which have always been voted as South Africa’s favourite holiday destinations. The opportunities for adventure and sightseeing opportunities in both towns are endless. After the coastal regions have satisfied your holiday needs, we further the adventure to our Big 5 safari region for two nights on a Game Reserve to indulge in all the wildlife sightings, open air viewing, log fires and great experiences.
Day 1: Arrival Cape Town
Land at Cape Town International Airport, Met and welcomed by our Guide at International arrivals, 20 minute transfer to accommodation in Cape Town (3 nights), Depending on time of arrival we have the afternoon/evening to explore at V&A Waterfront, Dinner at Waterfront (A variety of musicians and performers on walkways) Good sunset spots
Lunch and dinner vegan options while in Cape Town: V&A Food Market, Reverie Social Table, Rick’s Cafe Americain, Bombay Brasserie, The Hungry Herbivore, Jessy’s Waffles, Lekker Vegan, Plant, Azure, Honest Chocolate cafe, Noursih’d, Tintswalo Atlantic, Hemelhuijs, Vovo Telo, Col’Cacchio Foreshore, Ginja, Tashas, The Poke Co, Aubergine, Raw and Roxy and plenty more options in and around the route.
*Farmers Markets are on every Saturday & Sunday at various locations in Cape Town, if the tour falls over a weekend then we will recommend having a visit to them for great Vegan options, music and a fun cultural outing. Day 2: Explore Cape Town City
Leisurely breakfast at accommodation, Table Mountain cable car experience to the top, Walk the contour path to incredible views of the Peninsula, Options to: Abseil 110m off Table Mountain cliffs, paraglide off Lions Head, Lunch in town or on top of Table Mountain,
Afternoon options to: Big Red City Bus tour, African Crafts shopping, Ziplining in the vineyards, Visit one of the many beach relax spots like Clifton, Sunset drinks on the coast or a sunset cruise in the Bay, Dinner in Town or Waterfront
Day 3: Explore Cape Peninsula route
Early morning departure to Simon’s Town, Great White Shark cage diving experience off Seal Island or Whale watching ocean safari (Depending on group decision and season), Breakfast/brunch at Simon’s Town harbour (example: The Tasty Table or Whole Earth Cafe), Cape Point visit (Southernmost tip of Africa), Lunch at Two Oceans Restaurant overlooking False Bay, Chapman's Peak peninsula drive and viewpoints, Sunset drinks and dinner in Camps Bay
Dinner options in Camps Bay: Parnaga, Zenzero, The 41, Mantra Cafe and Mojo Market in Sea Point or the Bay Harbour market in Hout Bay.
Day 4: Wine Country visit
Breakfast at accommodation, Depart for Stellenbosch (Oldest wine route in South Africa), Wine tastings, food pairings, cellar tours, Lunch on the vineyards, Check in at accommodation (1 night), Afternoon stroll and shopping options in town, Dinner in town
Lunch and dinner vegan options: Delaire Graff Restaurant, Tokara, Boschendal, The Basic Bistro, The Table, Mont Marie and a few other options on vineyards or in Town. There are options just outside of Stellenbosch like the Spice Route experience or Babylonstoren.
Day 5: Hermanus on the cliffs
Breakfast at accommodation, Depart for Franschoek wine region, Experience the vineyards by Wine Tram, Drive to Hermanus,
Lunch at Beintangs Cave or on the coast,
Afternoon Whale watching from the cliff path or sunset cruise,
Check in at accommodation (1 night), Evening stroll along the coastal cliffs to dinner
Lunch and dinner vegan options: La Pentola, Burgundy, Fabios, Lizettes Kitchen, Coco’s, Benguela Cove on the vineyards
Day 6: Knysna Waterfront and Heads explore
Breakfast at accommodation, Depart for Knysna, Lunch at East Heads Cafe overlooking the cliffs and ocean, check in at accommodation (1 night), Options to: Waterfront shopping, relax, Heads viewpoints, Evening sunset wine river cruise, Dinner at coast or Waterfront
Lunch and dinner vegan options: Ile De Pain, Cafe Mario, The Olive Tree, Sirocco, The Drydock Food Co. Could possibly do the wine cruise on the estuary through the Heads with vegan snacks and wine. Original cruise is with oysters and wine.
Day 7: Plettenberg Bay
Breakfast at accommodation, Outdoor African crafts market (Other options along route too), Drive to Plettenberg Bay, Check in at accommodation (2 nights), Beach chill with lunch overlooking the ocean, Afternoon Robberg Island hike to spot marine mammals from the cliff path with sunset drinks overlooking ocean, Dinner on coast or in Town

Day 8: Exploring Plettenberg Bay
Breakfast at accommodation, Options of: beach walks, relax at beach, snorkel dive with Seals, fly over the coast, skydiving, dolphin kayaking, Lunch on coast, Dinner in Town
Day 9: Addo Elephant National Park
Breakfast at accommodation, Departure for Addo Elephant National Park, Options on route: Waterfall ziplining, Africanyon kloofing, Worlds highest Bungy jump, Lunch on route at Storms River, Drive through Addo, Check in at accommodation (1 night), Dinner in Addo. Evening watching the waterhole from the viewing deck with animals coming to drink water at night
Lunch and dinner vegan options: The restaurant in Addo Elephant National Park does cater for vegetarians and vegans, but I would suggest we do a self-catered vegan barbecue at the accommodations. There is a park shop with basic drinks, snacks and other options, but maybe stop along the way and stock up before we get out into the wild.
Day 10: Big 5 Safari
Breakfast at park restaurant or at accommodation, Self drive through the National Park, Drive to Safari reception for welcome drinks and meal, Check in at accommodation (2 nights), Lunch on Safari, Afternoon game drive and sunset drinks, Night game drive, Dinner on Safari
Lunch and dinner vegan options: The lodge will be able to prepare vegan dishes for the group, including breakfast, lunches, dinners and game drive snacks
Day 11: Big 5 Safari
Early morning wake up and game drive with coffee/tea/snacks, Brunch spread at safari lodge, Relax at Safari facilities and swimming pool, viewing deck and lounges, Lunch at lodge, Afternoon optional game drive, Final group dinner on safari
Lunch and dinner vegan options: Chefs will prepare something good for the final group dinner
Day 12: Departure from Port Elizabeth International
Early morning wake up call for game drive (depending on departure flights for drop off in town), we will drop clients off at the exact times they need to be at airport for departure
